The best time to visit Kochi is throughout the year as it enjoys a tropical monsoon climate barring the months from June to September. This is the time Kochi receives heavy rains and unless you are a big fan of the monsoons, avoid visiting Kochi during these months.

The city’s cuisine largely consists of sea food so you can’t leave the city without trying the famous fish, curry and rice.
