Situated in North Andaman, Diglipur is the second-largest town in the Andaman Islands. The picturesque town is accessible from Port Blair by road, by boat or by seaplane. The serene island-town is one of the most popular tourist places of Andaman and an ideal holiday destination for the newlyweds!

Travelling by the famous Andaman Trunk Road to Diglipur from Port Blair is highly recommended for the nature-lovers. Interestingly joined by a natural sand-bar that goes inside the sea at times of high tide and surfaces up again during low tide, the islands provide excellent snorkelling experience in the crystal-clear, gem-green coloured waters. Another great tourist spot near Diglipur is Kalipur Beach at a distance of 18 kilometres. For those who are into adventure, several water-sports are available at the beach, like speedboat, water scooter etc. Animal-lovers can have a wonderful experience of visiting the only place in the world where one can see nesting grounds of four types of sea turtles namely Leatherback, Olive Ridley, Green and HawksBill Turtles!

Saddle Peak National Park is another amazing spot near Diglipur with dense forests rich in flora and fauna and some of the highest peaks in the whole of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, providing a panoramic view of the islands from the top!
