The Kaziranga National park is the host for two third of world’s population on one horned rhinos and also holds the highest density of Tigers among all the protected areas in the world. This park also is a domicile for large breeding inhabitants of Elephant, wild water buffaloes and swamp deer. Although Kaziranga National Park is situated in the north eastern part of the country in the district of Golaghat and Nagoan in Assam, the nearest airport to the park is in Jorhat District, i.e. Rowriah Airport. Distance between Kaziranga to Jorhat is 83 km by Road along with an aerial distance of 74 km.
