There is no special or traditional artifact that is prepared in the city .There are lots of individaul shops and super markets like Ambagan Market which sells Orissan handicrafts, modern decorative and utilitarian articles such as carved statues of soap stone, wooden toys, colourful clay, straw mats, highly polished birds of horn, ornaments of shell, hand bags, filigree jewellery, lustrous silks and handloom textiles etc.
