Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary


The Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary was first found in 1962 and re-noticed in the 1974. It is one of the most densely populated sanctuaries in Himachal. It lies across the Uhl River in Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh. It is home to a variety of species such as monal, musk deer and Himalayan bear. The closest Railhead is at Jogindernagar (40 km ). Best Time to visit it is between the months of April to May and August to October.
