Holy Spirit Church

Holy Spirit Church is located in the Old Market Square of the commercial town at Margao. The church was originally built in 1564 by the Jesuit missionaries. In 1571, this church was destroyed by Muslim soldiers. It was finally rebuilt in 1645 and consecrated in 1675. This church has been constructed in Indian Baroque architectural style, with outer white facade.
