Join me on a private walking tour through North Goa’s most bustling & colorful market. This exclusive market walking tour is designed to teach practical travel photography and camera skills and show you the highlights of local Goan life from an insider’s perspective in places you might not venture to by yourselves.
Through the morning I work alongside you to help you understand particular technical challenges, provide artistic inspiration and most importantly, lead by example in approaching local people. This approach both opens doors and helps you take better pictures. I teach simple to implement tips to truly enhance your photography skills and really boost your confidence when taking people & places photographs.
Much more than just a photography tour – this cultural tour of Goa provides a unique insight into Goan people and places. All of the sites we visit are engaging and interesting in their own right, so non-photographers are most welcome to join. In addition you don't need a fancy camera to join a walking tour; point-and-shoot cameras and smartphones can also capture amazing photographs if you know the tricks and learn the right approach.
My aim is to encourage you to see Goa and her people in a deeper way than the usual tourist experience and to help you go home with great photographs to prove it.
TOUR DETAILS: Private local market walking tour
We will spend the morning photographing and exploring an exotic and engaging local Goan market. The market we explore is an excellent example of a bustling South Indian marketplace, with the sights, sounds and smells of a large fruit and vegetables bazaar, a seafood and meat market, a spice bazaar, a flower market, a Goan bakery and dozens of other silver, textile and jewellery merchants from around Goa and further afield.
At the end of the tour we will stop for chai and Goan snacks ( included ) to debrief the morning’s learnings.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a professional camera, many guests learn to take amazing photos with me on their point-and-shoot cameras or smartphones.
Alternatively if you want to learn how to use a professional camera without the investment, I have a brilliant Canon 5D MKII camera with a Canon 50mm lens available for rent for your tour.
This tour is run through the year, including during the monsoon season. In the event that the weather is too stormy to properly enjoy the tour it will be postponed to a suitable dry day.
