06:00 AM – Departure from Delhi:
Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in New Delhi, and we will start driving towards Agra in an air-conditioned car. The 230km will be will be covered in less than 2 and a half hours over Yamuna Expressway. Upon arrival, head towards Taj Mahal to see its morning view.
09:00 AM – Taj Mahal:
Widely quoted as the Symbol of Love and counted amongst the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal boast the beauty which cannot be described in words. The massive monument is located on the banks of River Yamuna and is built by pure white marble. Enjoy a camel ride to reach the monument from its entry gate.
The story goes as follows – Shah Jahan, fifth Mughal Emperor, wanted to devote a monument to his wife Mumtaj Mahal who died while giving birth to their 14th child. Mumtaj Mahal was counted amongst the most beautiful women in the world, and thus the monument that was going to represent her has to be equally beautiful. It took 25, 000 artisans straight 22 years to construct a monument which is today known as Taj Mahal. The beauty remained better than what Shah Jahan might have expected. Today, the monument invites millions of tourists from every single corner of the world, blessing the lovers for a blissful relationship and poets for finding words that can match the beauty of this majestic building. Spend an hour or two at the monument, and visit the graves of Shah Jahan and Mumtaj Mahal placed in the center of the chamber.The entire surrounding is too beautiful to be described. The cool breeze passing over the waters of Yamuna keeps the environment pleasant and smooth.

2:00 PM – Agra Fort:
Located close to Taj Mahal is massive Agra Fort, also known as the Red Fort of Agra due to its red color acquired by sandstone.
Agra Fort was constructed by Great Mughal Emperor Akbar, when he decided to establish his capital in Agra. Apparently, the fort served as the residence and seat of power for the Mughal Dynasty. But with the end of Mughal Era, the majestic fort remained there with its pride and honor. Later, it was transformed into a museum and it houses innumerable belongings of the Mughal rulers. Agra Fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. You will be able to find many weapons, dresses, artifacts, statues and other belongings of the Mughal Rulers in the fort.
04:00 PM – Departure for Delhi:
After visiting these two destinations, we shall move towards Delhi in in our car. Enroute enjoy dinner in a road-side restaurant. Post dinner, continue driving towards Delhi.
