DAY 1 : AIZAWL
Arrive AIZAWL by flight ( the scenic capital of Mizoram, is a religious and cultural center of the Mizos. The town is blessed with exotic natural beauty and is famous for its handicrafts. It is an ideal hill station for tourists looking for solitude and clean air ) . On arrival transfer to Tourist Lodge .
Day 2 : AIZAWL
Sight seeing of Aizawl town which will include the visit to the State museum ( This museum is situated at Mc Donald Hill in the town center. Open Monday - Friday from 9:00 A.M to 5 PM. Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM. Though small, it has an interesting collection of historical relics, ancient costumes and traditional implements ) , Bara Bazar ( This is the main shopping center with stalls selling garments and other commodities. ) Big Drum of Aizawl and Model Village at Falkawn. Overnight Aizawl.
Day 3: AIZAWL - SILCHAR. ( 120 kms/4 hrs )
We leave for Silchar which is a transit point for entering Agartala. On arrival check at Hotel.
Day 4 : SILCHAR-AGARTALA ( 280 KMS/8 hrs )
Start early in the morning. On arrival check in at Hotel.
Day 5 : AGARTALA
LOCAL SIGHTSEEING OF AGARTALA ( The major interest of the town is the Ujjayanta Palace, which was built in the Indo-Saracenic style in 1901 by Maharaja Radhakishore Manikya. Sepahijala wild life sanctuary, Kamala sagar . Situated about 55 km from Agartala is Neermahal, Tripura's major tourist attraction. It is a summer resort built in the middle of a lake named Rudrasagar, with a total area of about 5.35 sq. km. It is the only lake palace in Eastern India and has been built in a mixture of Hindu and Mughal styles.
Day 6 :AGARTALA - IMPHAL
Dropping at Agartala airport .Leave for Imphal by flight . On arrival check in at Hotel . After lunch visit Kangla fort and Ima Market. Overnight Imphal.
Day 7 : IMPHAL
Full day sightseeing –Govindajee Temple , Loktak lake ( largest fresh water lake in north east ) , INA Memorial ( Indian tri color was first hoisted here by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army ) , Japanese War Memorial, Sadu Chiru water falls ) . Overnight Imphal.
Day 8 : IMPHAL - KOHIMA ( 140kms/5 Kms )
Drive to KOHIMA. Enroute visit Heritage village- a model village for all the major tribes of Nagaland. On arrival check in at Hotel. After lunch visit II world war cemetery. Overnight in Kohima.
Day 9 : KOHIMA-KHONOMA
Full day sightseeing of Khonoma Village and Kohima. Overnight in Kohima.
Day 10 : Airport Drop
Dropping at Imphal airport or Dimapur airport. Tour Ends.
