11:30 Pm starts near to keraleeyam lake resort; cross punnamada lake reaches SNDP Thodu. Reach village side; take kayak from there. Fit kayak. Cruise continues through SNDP thodu, reaches Kuppapuram, see Kuppapuram School cruise the big lake. Reach a country side village Lunch BREAK there. After tea cruise continues enter panakal thode.
Kayaking Trip starts from there. Paddle through panakal thode. Reaches a big lake, cross this lake. Enter very small canal in alleppey named Umpikaran thode. ( if water level the canoe boat can’t follows ) cruise through 1 ½ hours through very small canal. We given the opportunity to go alone for another direction in same canal after come back to the same point. See the real beauty of alleppey backwaters.
Then reaches chennamkary vattakayal. Paddle through kainakary. REST FOR Some time or swimming in the lake . start again to kainakary thode visit toddy shop enjoy the fresh toddy & Tapiyoca , shell fry. Then continous through kainakary north village .Reached pallathruthi. TEA BREAK then continues to Nehru Trophy venue. Tour ends at SNDP Thode.
Wait for 15 min for real & cleaning kayak. Then canoe drop to same place we picked near Keraleeyam lake resort.
PRICE DETAILS
No previous kayaking experience is necessary but swimming experience is needed.
During the trip 1 mechanized canoe boat follows you. If you feel tired or need rest you can sit back in the boat.
With the 7 hours tour you will get the opportunity to take lunch at a backwater village restaurant, Toddy Shop visit , village walk, swimming etc...
Tour Cost :
Rs 3, 000/- per person for 07 hours with lunch, evening tea and snacks.
NB: Need minimum two people to contact a trip, other wise you have to pay double.
Please note that all our day tours are group tours. Some times other travelers will also be with you in the tour.
